Marking the 40-year anniversary of Camper, the family-run Spanish footwear brand, the Design Museum will take visitors on a journey from the design studios in Mallorca to mass production facilities in the Far East and on to shop floors across the globe. Taking a look at the brand's humorous approach to advertising, traditional shoemaking skills and contemporary design practice, the exhibition will include archival material including concept drawings and prototype products. As yet unreleased pieces and new photography will also be on display, building a picture of how a collection is researched, created and put together. Expect to see collaborations with key designers including Kengo Kuma, Hella Jongerius, Jasper Morrison and Bouroullec Brothers.
