The influence of London on George Orwell’s work is the subject of this themed weekly walk. The culture, sights and people of pre-war and wartime London will be discussed as you stroll from Great Portland Street, through the West End and on to Rathbone Place and there’s a short reading from a different Orwell work at each stop. The cost of the two-and-a-half hour tour includes a copy of Orwell’s 1946 essay ‘Politics and the English Language’. Meet at Great Portland Street tube station.
