Last year Poplar HARCA (Housing and Regeneration Community Association) brought the community together to celebrate the East End and festival-goers enjoyed the day so much that it's making a comeback this September. Chrisp Street Market, located opposite All Saints DLR, will be decked out to a seaside theme with a pop-up beach and nautical fun stuff including donkey rides, a fairground, swimming pool, face painting and craft workshops. The free event also offers live spoken word, comedy, poetry and live music from Brassroots, Royal Sounds and Zydeco Stew. The regular market stalls, pubs and cafes will be open, alongside street food stalls provided by foody collective Bite.
