Better Bankside Pancake Day Race

Local businesses from the Bankside area had better get their best pan-wielders ready for the 2025 edition of this annual race. The winner is the first team past the post with more than a third of the pancake still in their pan. Borough Market’s regular traders will be serving up piles of pancakes. Teams of four are encouraged to raise sponsorship, and spectators to give donations; all money collected will go to Bankside Open Spaces Trust, a local environmental and volunteering charity that aims to provide green spaces and outdoor activities to enhance the health and wellbeing of urban communities.
