The Wallace Collection is putting on a party. The gallery is looking to broaden its audience by inviting young things in to check out the historical displays. Guests will be encouraged to interact with the exhibits by taking selfies with the works in the Great Gallery (12.30pm-3.30pm), completing an Instagram trail to win prizes (noon-4pm) and creating collection-inspired masks, magnets and display fans (noon-1.30pm and 2.20pm-4pm). Caricaturist Anna Saunders will be reinventing visitors in her signature style (1pm-3pm) and instructors will lead sessions on how to dance the Quadrille, a nineteenth-century craze (1.30pm-2.15pm, 2.30pm-3.15pm and 3.30pm-4.15pm). The event, which is free to attend, is aimed at 14-24 year-olds.
