To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first publication of 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland', the Cartoon Museum presents this exhibition examining how cartoonists have re-imagined the book's characters since they were first brought to life in 1865. Curated by the President of the Lewis Carroll Society, Brian Sibley, the show champions the multiple ways in which Alice, the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts have been depicted through misadventure, parodies and pastiches, and the jibes and jokes aimed at making political points or social comment. Work from the likse of Ralph Steadman, Nicholas Garland and EH Shepard features alongside political cartoons from Steve Bell and Martin Rowson.
