A 48-hour feast of film
To see how long our readers can stay awake, we’re revelling in one of Time Out’s greatest passions for a two-day movie party.
Time Out and Sony have got together with the creators of Rooftop Film Club for an exciting cinema event taking place at the House of Vans in Waterloo, not on a rooftop but indoors, underground in fact. Over the course of two days we'll be screening a great selection of films from cult, to classic, to contemporary. They include '80s classics 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off', 'Top Gun' and 'Dirty Dancing'. Also more recent releases like 'AMY', 'Eden' and 'Kurt Cobain: Montage Of Heck', as well as a great horror triple bill.
There’ll be a chance to check out the key features of the Xperia™ Z3 Series for yourself at the event, and so much going on that you’ll be too entertained to even think about bed, or home – or work!
Drop in or stay all night
Time Out and Sony are inviting you to be part of this epic endeavour. Swing by and catch one of the films after work or even on your way to the office – or stay for the double/triple bills if you’re up to the challenge. There will also be the chance to win your very own Xperia Z3.
Pick one of the options below and fill in your details to be in with a chance of winning tickets to one of these amazing screenings.

Meet our blogger Lucie Loves
Lucie Loves is a London-based photographer with a passion for fashion and lifestyle. Her work takes her all over the place at all times of the day and night – often with little time to worry about whether or not she’s charged up her phone that morning. Who better, then, to put the Xperia Z3’s battery life to the test, along with the Sony SmartBand Talk. Here’s what she thinks.
My smart life
A lightweight smartphone is vital – for capturing images, social media, managing my schedule and planning routes. It keeps mine and my husband’s lives in sync. Literally.

Do more, but do it well
It's my driving philosophy! I was astonished at the clarity of the Xperia Z3’s screen: its sharp resolution and 20.7 megapixels are not far off what my DSLR has to offer.
Putting it to the test
We went on a 14km walk up Bowfell, but I forgot to charge the Z3 beforehand, so it was only at 27 percent. Four and a half hours later, I’d captured 21 4K videos and 51 photos and still had three percent battery remaining. Nice.
I can stay awake for days...
The nearly empty battery – surely one of modern life’s most dreaded warning signs. Who hasn’t gone to make a call or check their emails, or wanted to while away a train journey watching favourite YouTube clips, only to find their smartphone is almost out of juice?
The Xperia™ Z3 Series from Sony features a range of everyday superpowers, but one of the most universally prized has to be its battery that lasts up to two days*. It’s perfect when life’s too busy to look for a power point or you’re enjoying yourself so much you didn’t even notice the battery level shrinking.
