Time Out says

When Brent Cross opened in 1976, people didn't believe the hype around shopping malls, but nearly 40 years on and Britain's first enclosed shopping centre is still thriving. With its mix of trusty department stores, high street brands and a few specialist shops, you can see why north Londoners are ever-loyal to Brent Cross (the free parking helps).

Skate Brent Cross

Planning a mammoth Christmas shopping trip soon? London’s newest ice skating pop-up is conveniently situated in the John Lewis car park adjacent to Brent Cross Shopping Centre, making it the perfect place to reward yourself after a hectic afternoon lugging shopping bags round its 120 stores. Adorned with festive garlands, wreaths and fairy lights, the 6,781 square foot space can accommodate 150 skaters at a time. It’s one of the earliest pop-ups to open this season, and is covered so it can be enjoyed during even the most extreme winter weather. Head down later in the festive season and you can also take part in other festive activities, including Christmas jumper customisation workshops with Cricut, and Christmas storytime with Santa for the kids.
