Invitation to the Burberry show got lost in the post? London Fashion Weekend promises an insider's perspective on the industry, with catwalk shows, talks from top name designers and heaps of discounted designer bargains. And just like London Fashion Week itself, the weekend event has got a shiny new venue, having upped sticks from Somerset House to Chelsea's uber-chic Saatchi Gallery. Here's our picks of the events to see and be seen at over the weekend.

London Fashion Weekend 2015 events

Talk: Natalie Massenet

As the founder of e-tail juggernaut Net-a-Porter and chairwoman of the British Fashion Council, Natalie Massenet is one of the most influential names in luxury fashion. She’ll be sharing her insider knowledge on Thursday evening, in what will be an unmissable even for anyone with an interest in getting a statement shoe in the door of the fashion industry.

Catwalk: Peter Pilotto

Design duo Peter Pilotto will bring their signature intricate prints and structured silhouettes to the London Fashion Weekend catwalk on Friday. Ticketholders can gawp over the dreamy embellishment and wearable shapes of the current season collection, which took its inspiration from an unassuming trinity of board games: Snakes and Ladders, Connect Four and Ludo.

Talk: Bella Freud

Everyone who’s anyone has been spotted in one of uber-cool designer Bella Freud’s signature quirky knits. With an enviable CV that includes consulting stints for the likes of Jaeger and Fred Perry as well as masterminding the success of her covetable eponymous line, she’s perfectly placed to offer invaluable insights into a career in fashion.

Catwalk: House of Holland

Thanks to larger-than-life prints, tongue-in-cheek sloganeering and the coterie of It-girls on the guest list, Henry Holland’s catwalk shows are some of the boldest (and the loudest) on the fashion week schedule. Bagsy a spot on the front row on Saturday to catch the designer’s irreverent AW15 collection up close and personal.

Blogging Panel with The Frugality

It can seem like everyone and her photogenic dog has a blog these days, but turning your little corner of the Internet into a success story requires hard graft. The Frugality’s Alex Stedman hosts a Q&A panel with Erica Davies from The Edited, Naomi Mdudu of The Lifestyle Edit and Anneli Bush of What I Bought Today. They’ll be offering up tips on getting started in the industry, and sharing how they transformed their blogs from hobbies to full-time jobs.
