    ‘Our Acne Studios Liberty London leather collaboration, which launches in February, is sure to be a hit. The paisley biker jacket with Swarovski detailing is a great investment piece.’

    ‘Anything with ruffles from Dries van Noten – the cashmere grey jumper with a black ruffle front will be my go-to piece for this season.’

    ‘Recently Jonathan Saunders has blown me away – every season he takes it to another level.’

    ‘I like the boutique Hostem in Shoreditch. They have a great edit and I especially love the minimalistic interior of the new womenswear floors.’

    ‘This is a lightweight cotton summer essential.’

    ‘Functional yet unusual. I love this.’

    ‘Chambray is always a winner in the summer, and this one is a great new take on it.’

    4. Ayame x Present socks (£28)
    ‘These are beautifully crafted in Japan, exclusively for the store.’

    5. William Fox x Present shorts (£120)
    ‘You can dress these shorts up with a blazer and loafers.’

    What will fly off the shelves this season?
    ‘The loud bits from William Fox & Sons are expected to do well. They’re a perfect splash of colour for the summer.’

    What are you most excited about wearing yourself?
    ‘Our collaboration with Hardy Amies. The collection ranges from tailored blazers to graphic T-shirts with some very interesting finishing touches.’

    Which designers have you got your eye on?
    ‘The chaps over at Hardy Amies always capture my attention, and our friends from Japan, Nanamica, always impress.’

    Davidoff on Jermyn Street does the best cigars.’

    What are your five key pieces for SS14?
    1. Pleated skirt (£125)
    ‘Pleats are back again. Pleating on a garment makes it incredibly easy to wear as it is structured yet soft when it moves.’

    2. Metallic skirt (£125)
    ‘Metallic is a big trend. We have a metallic silk skirt that has a waiting list in store. It’s the perfect combination of a key trend and an easy-to-wear piece.’

    3. Culottes (£250)
    ‘We are seeing a longer length short coming through, almost Bermuda in length. It’s a move on from midi-skirts.’

    4. Strappy vest (£155)
    ‘The spaghetti strap, beloved of ‘90s supermodels, makes a return. Wear on its own or layer over a T-shirt and wear with Adidas Gazelles for a real throwback look.’

    5. Rucksack (£350)
    ‘We have reinvented our best selling Portland rucksack: this season it comes in metallic and white. I want one already!’

    What will fly off the shelves this season?
    ‘Flat clunky sandals been slowly coming through for a while, and we have one that you can wear with anything and everything this summer. We’ve given them a luxurious feel with metallic leather and shiny buckles.’

    What are you most excited about wearing yourself?
    ‘Culottes and shorts. I’m not a hot pants girl so to have them in long-length leather and cotton is great.’

    Which designers have you got your eye on?
    ‘No.21 feels fresh and easy to wear. Proenza Schouler for their amazing fabrics. Acne is a staple and I am a long-time lover of Alexander Wang.’

    Liberty is very well curated. You don’t feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of product.’

    ‘Denim is such a versatile fabric and goes with anything these days – you can really smarten up these striped, loose jeans with a heel and tailored jacket.’

    ‘This small cross-body bag is ideal when you’re on the go and perfect for holding your essential items.’

    ‘Any kind of denim as long as it has a twist: the Adam Lippes culottes, a Joe Richards coat and the Christopher Kane jeans with big buttons.’

    ‘I’m interested to see Balenciaga develop under Alexander Wang – the Le Dix bag is beautiful.’

    ‘A little one in Camden Passage called Hexagone that only stocks good French products, including soap, candles, books, utility items like brooms and Breton T-shirts.’

    1. Metallic skirt (£48)
    ‘This metallic pencil skirt would look amazing with a sporty black crop top and some pool slides. Or just team with a simple sweatshirt.’

    2. Denim shorts (£32)
    ‘Bleached denim looks really new for summer. I love this boysy short with a cool slogan T-shirt and flat sandals.’

    3. Floral shirt (£45)
    ‘Hawaiian shirts are really popular this season for both men and women. I’d wear this with the matching shorts (see below).’

    4. Floral shorts (£30)
    ‘The Bermuda short is cool and masculine, but can look sexy with heels. It’s a great tomboy alternative to the midi-skirt.’

    5. Palm tree sweatshirt (£28)
    ‘Sweatshirts are a key SS14 item and they're not just for the gym. If I was feeling glam, I’d wear this with my sequin joggers and heels.’

    What will fly off the shelves this season?
    ‘Slogan T-shirts, anything cropped – from pretty lace to super sporty – and co-ordinating pieces, like the Hawaiian shirt and shorts. Co-ord dressing is a great way to make the most of your wardrobe: you can wear matching pieces head to toe or take one piece and mix with denim or a casual T-shirt for a totally different look.’

    What are you most excited about wearing yourself?
    ‘I love our denim, in particular the acid wash sweats, and there are some great new bags coming through. The trends are really sporty and we have some great jerseys.’

    Which designers have you got your eye on?
    ‘JW Anderson and Simone Rocha’s collections are amazing and just get stronger and stronger each season.’

    Your favourite London shop? (Not your own!)
    ‘Maltby Street Market. It has a great vibe and pop-up restaurants. I often spend Saturday afternoon with my husband thrifting through LASSCO, which has amazing antique furniture.’

    What are your five key pieces for SS14?
    1. Levi’s RED white shirt (£600)
    ‘This quilted white cotton apron is from the first RED collection in 7 years. It is the most comfortable shirt you will ever wear.’

    2. Paco Rabanne dress (£1847)
    ‘A short shift dress in patent leather from Julien Dossena's first collection for Paco Rabanne, much of which had a futuristic edge. Wear it with flats.’

    3. Kult Domini shoes (£446)
    ‘Kult Domini is a new footwear brand from designer Kate Deeley. She references masculine shapes, taking inspiration from classic Derby shoes and Chelsea boots. They’re extremely well-made.’

    4. Faustine Steinmetz jeans (£797-£1472, made to order)
    ‘We’ll be stocking an exclusive selection of London designer Faustine’s hand-spun, dyed and woven denim. It’s a labour-intensive process that creates a garment unlike any other pair of jeans you’ve worn before.’

    5. E Tautz shorts (£265)
    ‘These silk and cotton drawstring shorts are beautiful. E Tautz create exceptionally well-produced pieces with a relaxed sensibility.’

    What will fly off the shelves this season?
    ‘I expect that Jacquemus will continue to sell well. The designer, Simon Porte Jacquemus has a really fresh point-of-view: sharp silhouettes, minimal shapes, bold colours and materials.’

    What are you most excited about wearing yourself?
    ‘I’m after a piece of Nicomede Talavera’s new collection. He’s a recent graduate of Central St Martins and his SS14 collection is exclusive to LN-CC. A really interesting blend of tailoring and sportswear, with amazing leather pieces too.’

    Which designers have you got your eye on?
    ‘I’m excited about Julien Dossena going to Paco Rabanne. He formerly worked alongside Nicolas Ghesquiere at Balenciaga and has a really strong vision. I think this is the beginning of a key relationship between a designer and a brand that’s steeped in history but has not been at the forefront of progressive design for some time.’

    Your favourite London shop? (Not your own!)
    Labour and Wait on Redchurch Street. They have a fantastic selection of simple but well-designed objects for the home. It’s good for gift shopping too.’
