Time Out says

One of our favourite gelaterias has two branches: the first in Rimini; the second, thankfully, right next to Borough Market. Behind a green frontage, its bright, spacious dining room has full-length windows opening on to the pavement in summer. The menu encompasses frozen yoghurt, ice-cream cakes, brioches and crêpes – the speciality coffees are also worth a mention (the Salcedo was a perfect espresso with liquid chocolate and skimmed milk) – but the real star is the gelato. It’s made on the premises; you can watch the two ice-cream machines, Italian imports, performing at the end of the shop.

Cups and cones come in three sizes starting at £3.20, which is big enough to try at least two flavours. The repertoire includes Italian classics as well as creative English innovations (eton mess, anyone?). Creamy flavours, for example chocolate chip (a classic vanilla cream-based gelato with chunks of dark chocolate), make a perfect pairing with fruity sorbets, such as the refreshing mixed berry sorbet. Ask for a drop of melted gianduja chocolate at the bottom of your cup or cone. It adds a whole new dimension to what might already be London’s best ice-cream.
