This smart Italian restaurant comes from Andy Needham - the one-time, long-time head chef at Zafferano. There are hints of the Belgravia venue in the dishes here, though the menu tends toward more simple, traditional Italian cooking.
Expect, then, dishes ranging from burrata with caponata of aubergine or parma ham with fresh figs and buffalo mozzarella to homemade chestnut tagliatelle with forest mushrooms, porcini and butter sauce, and braised veal shin with saffron risotto and gremolata. Desserts include a classic tiramisu and a chocolate fondant with salted caramel ice cream.
An accessible wine list is focused solely on Italy, with the beers by way of Birra Moretti.
