Time Out says

Fans of this longstanding South Bank restaurant are legion – and with good reason. It’s always refreshing to see venues that could easily rely on incredible views serving high-quality food on a consistent basis, and Oxo Tower is certainly in that camp. But let’s be honest, those views – easily spied through the expansive glass frontage and an excellent alfresco area – really are impressive.

The menu has been created by Exec Head Chef Jeremy Bloor, who has been overseeing things here for nearly a decade. There’s a focus on seasonal ingredients, so the menu changes regularly, but it's usually seriously readable. At the time of writing highlights include Dorset crab with a seaweed salad, cucumber, apple, avocado purée and crab ketchup, duck breast with smoked duck croquettes, pea purée, bacon lardons and duck sauce, and a raspberry ripple cheesecake with pistachio granola and candied lemon.

As we say, very readable. Afternoon tea is also a real draw here, and if you like the venue and want to explore its other arms, there’s a lovely brasserie and a banging bar, too.

OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie says
Set upon the 8th floor of the iconic OXO Tower and having recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, the OXO Tower plays hosts to three different venues: Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie. With panoramic views across the city and proud owners of a 200ft terrace, the OXO Tower offers all from fine dining, afternoon tea, to the more casual all-day dining.

The Restaurant is perfect for… those that enjoy fine dining, and views to match. Those looking for an experience or a special celebration. From birthdays and graduations to date night, the OXO Tower Restaurant is the place for every occasion.

The Bar is perfect for… after-work drinks, a spontaneous afternoon coffee and bite to eat or cocktails late into the evening. There’s no need to book if you fancy a drink, although we recommend calling ahead to see how busy we are, especially at the weekends.

The Brasserie is perfect for… the everyday. The OXO Tower Brasserie offers a relaxed menu suitable for casual lunches, pre-theatre dining and everything in between.
