This new burger bar on Coldharbour Lane is another addition to a Brixton food scene that's positively burgeoned. Craft beer and cocktails play an important part here but it's mostly about the burgers - all handmade using top-notch Yorkshire beef.
It sounds like there's quality throughout. The house classic, for example, comprises a patty made from chuck, brisket and bone marrow, grilled and served with house-pickled cucumber, homemade red onion chutney and homemade tomato chilli jam. There's homemade ketchup and homemade garlic hot sauce on the table, too.
Craft beers such as Chapel Down's Curious Brew are served alongside intriguing cocktails, such as The Man - a mix of bacon-infused Jack Daniels, egg, orange zest, Grande Marnier, maple syrup and Angostura bitters. There's a slice of bacon providing dubious decoration on that one, too.
