There's an eye on authenticity at this Japanese restaurant in Kingston-upon-Thames - they've even got a few cherry blossom wishing trees dotted around. They give the dining room a traditional Japanese feel, with paper lanterns, pictures of geishas on the wall and bits of bamboo completing the look.
The menu features a host of Japanese dishes. They range from gyoza dumplings, yakitori skewers and edamame to katsu curries, prawn tempura, teppanyaki eel and ika mayo - a dish of chopped deep-fried squid served with a homemade Japanese mayonnaise. A range of sushi proves popular too, as does the solid selection of sake.
The menu also offers a few dishes from Korea. Keep an eye out for kimchi pancakes, honey beef bulgogi and dolsot bibimbap - a mixed rice dish served in a hot stone bowl.
