This modern-looking tea shop and café is one of two in London - there's a sister site now, over in Soho. Both take their name from the name for 'water' in Shona language, native to the Shona people of Zimbabwe. This branch – the original – specialises in all manner of different teas.
That means more than 100 blends of loose-leaf tea ranging from English breakfast and Earl Grey to to rare single-estate drops from India, Africa and China. Matcha tea is also available, alongside tea-cocktails, tea-frappés, bubble tea and a variety of chais.
Baked goods - including a good-looking range of cakes - also feature.
