Ever since she took her first lead vocal on the band’s third single, the sweet, quavering voice of Sarah Cracknell has been a big part of the allure of London indie pop/alternative dance darlings Saint Etienne. It’s taken her almost two decades but she’s finally following up her solo debut ‘Lipslide’ (1997) with a new record, ‘Red Kite’.
