FFS (Franz Ferdinand/Sparks)

No-one saw this one coming, but it makes a weird kind of sense: Franz Ferdinand have joined forces with Sparks for a joint record and tour as FFS. We weren’t enamoured with the album (the tongue-in-cheek song title ‘Collaborations Don’t Work’ summed things up pretty accurately) but their operatic six-man live show is quite a sight, and they throw in a few classics from each band’s discography alongside the collaborative material.
