Respected jazz singer Ian Shaw hosts two eclectic music and performance shows – on the same night – to raise money to help refugees in Calais camps. Shaw has been travelling to and from Calais over recent months to build shelters and help those in need. As for the shows, Shaw told Time Out, that they will be ‘A cross-section of music, comedy and performance.'
The line-up includes Julian Clary, Gwyneth Herbert, Rory Bremner, Natalie Williams, Gil Manly, Barb Jungr, Kate Adams and soulful pop singer Linda Lewis. There's also a raffle and auction, and all proceeds go directly to help Calais.
There are two shows, one at 7.30pm, one at 10.30pm, both at the Phoenix Artist Club. Each show features a different line-up, but Shaw himself will perform at both.
