Impact: Collisions and Catastrophes

This exhibition in the Astronomy Centre looks at the ways in which our planet is bombarded by debris from space – from meteor showers to giant asteroids. Photographic imagery, film and interactive exhibits look at these fiery visitors and their effects. The show also explores the clues that asteroids and meteorites provide about the formation of the solar system and the origins of life.
