This hellraising US stand-up and star of 'Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe' is the real frickin' deal, tackling hard-hitting topics with brutal honesty and drunken intelligence. Politics, sex, drugs, religion, death – Stanhope has smart views on all them in his vitriloic rants. The Arizona-based comic's rambling, alcohol-fuelled social commentaries are utterly thrilling, and no two shows are ever quite the same. These London dates will be a treat.
