Watch Boris Johnson knock over a ten-year-old during a game of touch rugby

Today, Boris Johnson visited a school in Tokyo to play an innocent game of touch rugby with some pre-pubescent kids. Sounds cute, right? What could go wrong? Er, well he could end up rugby tackling a ten-year-old schoolboy to the ground. Which he did. So desperate to win was old Boris, that he seemed to conveniently forget the fundamental rules of touch rugby, where a light tap or touch replaces any aggressive tackling (the clue's in the name).

Luckily, ten-year-old Toki Sekiguchi soldiered on, saying he 'felt a little bit of pain but it's okay'. What a trooper. Despite the painful run-in, he even said he enjoyed meeting the mayor. Which means you don't have to feel bad about spending the rest of the day watching this glorious GIF:
