We don't want to get anyone over-excited, but it looks like the long-awaited, near-mythical night tube service might actually materialise sometime this century. Maybe. We're not making any promises. Last week, the RMT union announced that it had accepted a deal over the night tube – and now members of Aslef have joined them, as 88 percent of its members voted to accept the deal. But before we all start throwing our Oyster cards in the air with joy, we're still waiting to hear whether the other unions – TSSA and Unite – will also accept the deal. So we're not out of the woods (or off the night bus) just yet.

In other, much less pressing news, the Emirates Air Line is closed ALL WEEK.
