Does your phone have an annoying habit of cutting out mid call, leaving you shouting down the phone and sounding embarrassingly like a Dom Joly parody? Or maybe you have to stand in a very precise location in your flat to get a signal – like the cupboard under the stairs or the bit just outside your bedroom window. Thankfully, RootMetrics has created an interactive mobile coverage map, which compares EE, O2, Vodafone and Three to show which networks have the best signal across the UK.
RootMetrics conducted 60,000 tests in London and found that EE and Vodafone came out top across the city. The study also looked at London train stations and venues and found that EE performed best at Euston, London Bridge, Waterloo and the Emirates Stadium, while Vodafone was more reliable at Liverpool Street and, er, the O2 arena. Find out if you're living in a total signal black spot or if it's just your crappy network by exploring the map here.
