What's that sound? Why, it's the very distant ring of jingle bells heralding that Christmas is almost, kinda round the corner. And there's Crimbo news!

Underbelly, the people behind the South Bank hub of comedy and cabaret, have set their sights on another prime London site – namely Leicester Square – in which to host a new festive arts destination as an early Christmas pressie. The beautiful vintage Spiegeltent venue will be transported to the West End and play host to Olivier award-winning variety show 'La Soirée' and their talented parade of mind-bending, body-twisting burlesque and circus artists.

But the star of the whole show, the big man himself, Santa (eeeee!) will be taking orders from eager beavers at a grotto as part of the traditional German Christmas market. All of which just leaves us to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! Only five months to wait...

Christmas in Leicester Square runs November 11–January 8
