If your idea of a badly behaved passenger on the tube is the pesky guy who nabs the last seat in the carriage, look away now. TfL has released figures about the tube line with the worst behaved passengers and their crimes include fighting, vandalism and, er, 'soiling' trains.
Those rowdy passengers on the Northern line have proved themselves to be the most badly behaved, clocking up 389 incidents over the last year. The Jubilee line came in second with 350, followed by the Piccadilly line with 293. Over a 12-month period, there were 64 fights and 52 drunk people causing chaos on the Northern line. And that doesn't include the folks who were throwing up in carriages or mistaking the seats for a toilet. Nice.
And let's not forget that this was all before the launch of the night tube on the Victoria and Central lines last month. The 24-hour service is set to launch on the Northern line sometime this autumn. Bet you can't wait now.
