Back in August, the long-awaited night tube finally launched on the Central and Victoria lines, changing our nocturnal lives forever. Or at least helping us cut down on our Uber costs.
The Jubilee, Northern and Picadilly lines are still waiting to get the night tube treatment, and TfL has confirmed that the 24-hour weekend service will launch on the Jubilee line on October 7. But we've now got an idea of when it'll kick off on the Northern line, too. According to a tweet from the BBC's Transport & Environment Correspondent, Tom Edwards, tube staff have been told that the Northen line will go nocturnal on November 18.
NEW: Tube staff have been told Northern line night tube will start Friday 18th November. Nothing official yet.

But the folks at TfL aren't giving anything away. A Transport for London spokesperson said: 'We’re looking forward to introducing Night Tube services on the Northern line as soon as possible this autumn. We are currently working through options on dates and will announce the launch date as soon as it is confirmed.'
So don't mark your diaries just yet, but if you live on the Northern line, Christmas might just come early this year.
