In case you hadn't noticed, we bloody love a good map. Yesterday, we brought you a map that shows how many calories you could burn by walking between stations. Today, our alternative tube map fix comes courtesy of the London Review Bookshop, which has compiled a guide to the best things in London in tube map form – because everything is better on a tube map.
Naturally, lots of the alternative stops are book-themed including the Broadway Bookshop, Walden Books and West End Lane Books. Oh, and the only Moby Dick-themed mini-golf course in Britain. But for those who haven't always got their nose in a book, they've also picked out some of London's best museums, markets, places to eat and drink and some top outdoorsy spots – from London Fields Lido to the Parkland Walk. You might notice that it's a bit bare in west London, which is for no other reason than the folks at the London Review Bookshop prefer north and south London. Fair enough.
The map is currently up in their shop window if you fancy popping in for a heated debate about whether the Buy2Save International Supermarket in Turnpike Lane really deserved a place on the map.
