The cultural phenom that is The Rainbow Bagel has landed in London! Specifically (and quite rightly) they're on sale at Brick Lane's Beigel Shop, known to you and I as 'The Yellow One.'

Take one batch of bagel dough, liven up with some food colouring, and form into delicious toruses. The result? It looks like this:

But we simply can't countenance savoury fillings on a bagel so psychedelic. Surely these sweet swirls of colour call for honey, peanut butter, jam or Nutella.

For while a salt beef bagel is perfection itself, a salt beef rainbow bagel  seems a tiny bit wrong:
