Look lively, it's London Cocktail Week – an annual booze bonanza that sweeps the city with events, take-overs, classy cocktails and pop-ups galore. With so much to do (and drink), it's hard to choose what to do. However, whisky lovers need look no further as we've found your perfect pop-up.
From October 3 until early December, luxury Scotch whisky brand Chivas Regal is popping up at the Truman Brewery with 'The Blend', a whisky bar and blending academy where you can make your own Scotch whisky under the guidance of the experts.
After an hour-long ‘Art of Blending’ session, you'll be well versed on the heritage, history and origins of single malt whiskies, have tasted samples from Speyside, Islay, the Highlands and Lowlands and blended your own bespoke version, which you get to take home. Basically, you'll pretty much be a bloomin' whisky expert and have a 200ml bottle of your personal blended whisky to impress your mates with (or just sip smugly at home alone). You just better hope some whisky questions come up at your next pub quiz.
