Remember when the first Harry Potter film was announced and they did the open castings on 'Newsround'? Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were all discovered via the call-outs.

Now, JK Rowling and co. are holding more auditions to find a new young star, but you probably don't fit the necessary criteria – unless you're a tot with an extremely high reading age, in which case props to you. They're looking for a girl aged between eight and 12 to play play Modesty, a 'haunted young girl with an inner strength and stillness,' in Potter spin-off 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'.

The girl will feature alongside 'The Theory of Everything' star Eddie Redmayne in the movie, which is based on a book Rowling wrote in 2001. Set 70 years before the Potter franchise, the movie will follow 'the Wizarding World's preeminent magizoologist,' Newt Scamander (Eddie) as he time travels to find unusual creatures. Fancy. Auditions are being held at 9am this Saturday (July 18) at the Excel Centre Hall. Filming will take place between August and January.

The exciting news comes just weeks after Rowling announced that another new Potter adventure is coming to the Palace Theatre next year.
