Life and death are pretty heavy topics to take on, but a new month-long festival hopes to find new ways to talk about death and dying in a non-depressing way. 'Life. Death. Whatever' at Sutton House will explore life, death and everything in between with a line-up of events, workshops and talks including Sylvia Plath-themed book clubs, death cafés, Funeral Tuesdays hosted by the Good Funeral Guide, and a 'life-affirming' herbal supper club. There will also be an exhibition, death-themed cocktails, and an interactive coffin playroom where you'll be able to decorate a coffin, play in a multi-coloured coffin ball pool, and even try a coffin out for size. Maybe give that last one a miss if you're claustrophobic, though.
