Style fiends, prepare to lose your actual crap – for the first lady of fashion is set to make a rare public appearance in our fair city on Monday December 5. Yep, Donatella Versace is gracing London with her perfectly coiffed presence, to sign copies of her new £60 coffee-table book ‘Versace’, that retraces her illustrious (and fabulous) career as the brand’s artistic director, a position she’s held since 1997.
Donatella will be holding court in the Versace store in Harrods (her natural habitat, surely) from 1pm, but we’d recommend getting there early as there’s sure to be a queue. Get your best, most blinging outfits dry-cleaned in preparation. And we know she’s kind of a huge deal, but if you don’t get there in time to meet her, for the love of God please keep your cool – never, ever chase her car down the street like our blog editor Sonya did once, okay?
Signings will take place on Monday December 5 at 1pm in the Versace boutique at Harrods, located on First Floor in International Designerwear Room 4.
