A few things have come from Australia that we could have managed fine without: 'Home and Away', Foster's, Rolf Harris... But one Melbourne café has come up with something we definitely need. In fact, it's barely even a café because instead of coffee, it cooks up cocoa. Mörk Chocolate Brew House, set up by a former barista and a coffee roaster, has a specially designed machine that whips up hot chocolates from hand-blended exotic cocoa powders, cacao liquors and chocolate syrups. Which means you can sip anything from hot chocolate with smoked salt to cold chocolate milk topped with custard-like crema Catalana. Forget flat whites. If this stuff hit London, we'd be all over it faster than you can say 'type 2 diabetes', mate. We need one in London. Now.
Melbourne might have a chocolate brewhouse but we asked the world's best barman to make some cornershop cocktails. Honey and Marmite old fashioned, anyone?
