Darts, eh? Boring old-man nonsense for people who think that 'mild' means 'beer' rather than a weak kind of cheddar, right? Wrong. Thanks to a fancy technofied system, new Shoreditch 'social darts venue' Flight Club is about to become the biggest thing in needle-tipped fun since Ewan McGregor got his wang out in 'Trainspotting'. You lob your dart and high-speed cameras track it in flight, before a computer calculates your score (avoiding all that tricky mental arithmetic) and flashes it up on screen, like in bowling. There are three different oches (throw lines) of varying distances from the board, so newbies can compete with their deadshot grandads, and, rather than just traditional darts, you can play fun team-based knockout games. The venue has been designed by the brains behind Dishoom and Zetter Townhouse, and is brought to you by a team including the founder of Bounce and All-Star Lanes. In terms of nights out, this one's a bullseye.
Flight Club is at 2a Worship Street, EC2A 2AH.
