So you may have been caught swigging Smirnoff Ices in a darkened corner of da club, but how about trying some more sophisticated drinking in the dark of winter this year? Throughout November and December, Pitch Black will be inviting guests to a 90-minute drinks-tasting session in complete darkness. It’s the Dans le Noir of the drinking world.
Participants at this self-proclaimed ‘multi-sensory adventure’ in Shoreditch will be greeted in a cosy drinking den by their servers and offered the chance to acclimatise before the lights are completely cut. They'll then work their way through a glass of fizz, two cocktails and two glasses of wine (careful with that red, babes), chatting through flavour profiles and the like. We’re told that with the lights out you’ll have a chance to focus fully on the mouthfeel. Hmm…
Tickets for Pitch Black cost £48 and are available here.
