Time Out says

Yes, it looks like a slightly rundown Wetherspoons. Yes, it smells like a slightly rundown Wetherspoons. But this east London community pub is special, because alongside the usual selection of Bulmers, Stella and Guinness, you’ll find beers and ales from Brodie’s. This brewery has been making incredible craft beer (out the back behind the paved garden) for longer than pretty most in London, and it’s still made with minimum fuss and maximum flavour. You can spend a whole day in here watching the football and skipping from beer to beer. It’s a proper local, with prices to reflect that: you’ll think you’re in heaven when you pay £2.60 (seriously… think about that) for a pint of cask ale. And in many ways, you are.
