The Cavendish Arms

An excellent south London boozer, situated on a residential street that's easily reachable from Stockwell or Vauxhall stations. They have a seating area outside the front and the inside is decked out with old Chesterfield sofas to suit the dimly-lit, drawing room vibe of the place. Little kitsch trinkets line the window sills and bar, along with books and board games. There's also a side room where they host regular live music and comedy nights, including one of the best (and free) new-act nights in the city, Comedy Virgins.
