Artists have been working with performance and live art since the late ‘50s expanding upon the conventional parameters of an artists’ practice. This two-month long program of events by invited international artists seeks to expose the distinction between ‘site’ and ‘live’ in artistic practices.
French artist Antoine Davenne's collaboration with UK-based performers highlights the concept of a ‘work-in-progress’ with his ongoing piece that has no clear start or end. Alex Cecchetti’s 3-day event explores the concept of an exhibition and Achim Lengerer has scheduled the performance of various historical documents in a rehearsal format.
