John Walter: Alien Sex Club

The British artist will transform Ambika’s subterranean space into a multimedia, multi-sensory, immersive show to explore visual cultures relationship with HIV today. Imitating the ‘cruise mazes’ of gay saunas and sex clubs, Walter has devised a large-scale installation that incorporates sculpture, painting, video and a performance bar to discuss the complexities of contemporary sexual health.
