Franz Ackermann

Ackermann's painting installation in White Cube's 9x9x9 gallery is a colourful explosion of a sprawling urban terrain that knows no bounds. Referred to as 'mental maps', the work incorporates painted wall murals, 3D panels that jut into the space and photographs, which are all hung in a chapel-like formation, immersing you in an illusionary experience of information overload.
