Time Out says

This exhibition foregrounds two portraits by the late painter Lucien Freud along with the work of four twentieth century art titans Marcel Duchamp, Max Beckmann, Eugen Knaus and Otto Dix. Focusing on the human form, Freud’s unforgiving stark portraits bare as much flesh of the sitters, ‘David and Eli’ in particular is a tender painting of two constants in Freud’s life: his beloved whippet Eli and his studio assistant David Dawson.
