This two-day event celebrates that most traditional of summer treats with an imaginative programme that includes milking a cow in the petting farm, learning about the arrival of ice cream to London and helping to make it using the latest nitrogen technologies. Of course there'll be plenty of the creamy stuff to sample, courtesy of the likes of Morelli's of Harrods, Gelatorino of Covent Garden and Shepherds of Herefordshire, which makes ice cream using sheep's milk.
