Curated by Hemingway Design, of Vintage Festival fame, and artist Clare Patey, the event celebrates all things British, with live music – 1950s swing orchestras, Paul Taylor's George Formby tribute and others on the bandstand, and acts on the main stage including the Noisettes, the Selector, Fairey Acid Brass Band, Urban Soul Orchestra, The Boxzettes and Brassroots – family-friendly entertainment including a traditional fun fair, competitions, games, storytelling and craft workshops, a tea garden staffed by members of the WI – with a record-breaking attempt for the tallest cake – an outdoor cinema screening Pathé footage from the coronation and significant royal events, a car boot sale, Carter's Steam Fair, and a special edition of Home Live Art's Alternative Village Fete – with 12 artists creating interactive work in response to theme of 'Queens' and 'Diamonds'.
