Time Out says

With its definitive title, ‘The Warehouse’ has a rich musical heritage in Leeds, having previously hosted seminal nights like SpeedQueen and Kaos, as well as bands like The Happy Mondays, and, of course, finding itself forever immortalised in LFO’s self titled ‘Leeds Warehouse Mix’. Nowadays, the venue, easily accessible on the fringe of the city centre, has been remodelled, refitted and reestablished to contemporary standards that would impress even the most jaded clubber in terms of sheer power; Funktion One speaker rigs are accompanied by C02 jets and lasers for maximum hands-in-the-air opportunity.

Combining the raw feeling of a temporary event, such as The Warehouse Project over the Pennines, with a slightly plusher club setup, The Warehouse maintains a rare and valuable 8am licence, seven days a week with no trouble, allowing for a rotation of regular, student-friendly nights, with larger events headlined by some of the biggest names in house, techno, acid and drum and bass.
