It sounds like the name of a particularly addictive iPhone app, but Tapped is actually an American-style brew pub in Leeds that has been making waves for its impressive selection of draught beers and delicious, stone-baked pizzas made with brewing yeast, attracting a young and diverse crowd.
Serving 27 beers, including 13 cask ales and 14 craft keg beers, as well as at least a hundred bottled from all around the world, Tapped is the true explorer’s pub, catering for those with even the most adventurous tastes and even boasting its own micro-brewery in the main room.
In an area of the city where shots and cocktails are more the norm, the bar proudly goes against the grain, riding the counter-trend for traditional drinking and a passion for fermented hops.
