Via Bellagio

In line with its upmarket image, the Bellagio’s small mall contains a dozen of the smartest designer names this side of Wynn Las Vegas. Long-standing tenants such as Tiffany & Co, Prada, Gucci, Chanel, Dior, Giorgio Armani and Hermès have been joined of late by the likes of Fendi and Bottega Veneta. If your wallet can’t cope, at least pop in to enjoy the location: the venue is a shrine to materialism, with daylight streaming through the vaulted glass ceilings on to opulent walkways and tidy storefronts. The food is a cut above regular mall fodder too: try Todd English’s Olives, a Mediterranean bistro overlooking the lake, with a marvellous view of the hourly Bellagio fountain show.
