Taste Enclave @ Avenue K

Taste Enclave, a new pork-friendly food court in the newly-revamped Avenue K, is showing all signs towards promising noodle-filled lunches. This food court hosts a mix of offshoot stalls from old streetside names in a clean, contemporary, strategically-lit space. Sentul Ah Yap Charcoal Hokkien mee spreads its soy sauce-soaked wings to the city centre with sloppy, lard-filled plates of slippery noodles. Pudu’s Heun Kee Claypot Chicken Rice too makes an entrance with rows of pots filled with crackly rice (ask for extra lap cheong) and a constantly friendly demeanour. Stall No.21’s beef noodles may be non-descript but is an offshoot of Chinatown’s famed Soong Kee beef noodles.
