Alibi offers the perfect excuse to escape the busy streets and enjoy some festive cheer, offering three-course festive lunches, brunches and dinner buffets throughout the season. What better way to enjoy your Yuletide celebration than tucking into Pacific rock oysters, scallops, prawns, succulent roast turkey slices and juicy rib-eye steaks? Keeping it traditional for dessert, Alibi is also serving Christmas log cake and stollen.

December 11-16 and 18-23, 11.30am-2.30pm each day.
Price: $248 a head.

The Place, on the other hand, is also getting into the festive spirit by serving up resplendent buffet feasts on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve featuring unlimited fresh seafood, whole roast turkeys and a live station offering pan-fried French foie gras. Your festive feast can be finished with pieces of indulgent Christmas log cake and baked gingerbread cheesecake. This is, indeed, the place to celebrate.

The Garage Bar sits on its fourth floor rooftop offering a great place to chill in the outdoors. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day it’s supplying revellers with a barbecue dinner buffet that boasts highlights including charcoal-grilled New Zealand lamb chops and rib-eye steak as well as fresh oysters, Canadian snow crabs and poached prawns. Or, for a more casual option while sipping on the bar’s incredible pints of craft beer, visit two vintage Citroën food trucks that are serving up gourmet turkey burgers and baked Alaska with craft stout ice cream. That’s right: food trucks!
