For anyone with a sweet tooth who's ever been to Tokyo, you've probably heard of Mille Mele Tokyo. Created by award-winning chef Marco Polo Molinari, this popular apple pie joint opened up in 2018 with three store locations across Yokohama and Kamakura in Japan. Since then, Mille Mele has been know to draw snaking queues each day formed by both locals and travellers looking to get their apple pie fix. If you're drooling already, then you'll be happy to know that Hongkongers can now enjoy Mille Mele's famous apple pies right here in the city!

Located on Sharp Street East in Causeway Bay, Mille mele's signature apple pies ($36 each; $138 for four) are made with slow-cooked Fuji apples, imported custard from Japan, and soy milk cream – all wrapped inside a buttery, flaky puff pastry. Apart from that, those who are looking for a lighter snack can opt for the mini puff bites ($42) where excess pastry from the pies are made in tiny bite-sized snacks glazed with syrup to give it an extra crunch. Mille Mele bakes up a new batch of pies every hour on the dot, so be sure to get there on time for some freshly baked goodies straight out of the oven.
